Quality and Integrity
At FHS, we understand the importance of quality and integrity to
the longevity of a company. FHS continues to expand in-house and
independent lab testing in order to ensure that all products meet
the highest quality standards that you and your customers have come
to expect.
Quality is the Most Important Ingredient!
In the past year Food and Healthcare Specialities has expanded
its laboratory facilities by purchasing state of the art equipment
and by increasing our highly competent staff in the quality control
and quality assurance departments. FHS makes quality the most important
ingredient in any product we produce. In our laboratory you will
find samples of raw materials. These samples along with other raw
materials are removed from their containers and sent to the lab
for analysis before they can be released for processing into final
product.

D.M.H (Dextrose Mono-hydrate) Testing
DMH is tested for
Specific Volume
Moisture Percentage
Dextrose percentage
Calcium Test.
Optical Rotation
Siene Test.
Packaging Material Testing All Packaging material is tested for
the specification laid down by the customers.
Microbiological Testing
In our microbiology lab various test are carried out for isolation
and identification of bacteria. In our temperature controlled Incubator
you will find materials that are being tested for purity using microbiological
procedures that check for
E. coli
Coliforms
Total Plate Counts
Staplococcus
Clostridum
Yeast and Mold
Salmonella and
Shigellae.
